Guest Writer: Pastor June Lutwama When I got born again, I read a book by a lady called Mary Baxter about her visitation to hell. Jesus took her to hell every day for thirty days. And heaven. I  recently found this lady's messages, interviews, and such on YouTube.  I quickly got in line as she described how horrible hell was. How real it is and what happens there.  I also bumped into messages by Bill Wiese. Jesus took him to hell for 23 minutes. He describes pretty much the same things.  The purpose for these two to go to hell was to tell others so they may repent. It hurts God to send people to hell. He is trying to keep people out of hell. You avoid hell by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior.  We often don't take life after death seriously.  Some go as far as saying there is no hell because a good God can't punish. It is very hard for most of us  to articulate and write down what we want from God because our vision is clouded by our challenges.  Challenges make you feel hopelessness and despair. Your thoughts and feelings are usually negative when you are going through something. You can't even see the way out. Especially when your life is full of struggle. That is when faith comes in.  You just have to disregard what you see, hear and feel and trust God. Get into the Word of God to build yourself.   I remember during a long period of losses the Lord moved me to write down new goals to start afresh. It was soooooo hard because I was used to fighting,  barely surviving and just focused on today not the future.  It took several attempts over a period of three months to write and rewrite my goals and vision again and again.  I was praying , studying the word , writing, listening to faith messages by anointed and proven Bible teachers,  confessing the Word ...

  The natural thing for people to do when they are suffering is to concentrate on what is going on and feel sorry for themselves .  Even when they pray they are just praying for God to do "anything " for relief. This applies to all areas of our lives but let us talk about finances .  Many people are struggling financially but praying for God to do just anything . For some, there is a sense that life is unfair . We are praying emotionally.  But we serve a very specific God. Jesus would ask, " what do you want me to do for you?' " .   Because what you specifically ask, God will do. You must be specific.  God does what you ask. And if you ask vaguely  you limit yourself.  In fact the Bible says a double minded man will get nothing from the Lord, so be focused : “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
