The Woman in Me- Poem and its Review

Matilda Phiri author

Deep inside me is a powerful woman,

One who roars louder than a lion

Yet is as soft as sheepskin.

In me resides a superwoman,

Fierce and visionary.

The woman in me is so influential,

Everything has landed on a silver platter for me,

As beautiful as a rose flower,

Yet I will remain bold.

Within me is a woman who does not tolerate idleness.

The woman in me is dominant,

Everything is safely under control,

Nothing falls off my guard.

Though I am sometimes hurt,

I still crack a grin,

Because I was wonderfully created,

That's why I'm called Mother Earth,

A keeper of nations,

That is me.

Happy New Month everyone!!!!
