Tears of Malawi, a cry to the skies

As hunger gnaws, and lives demise

Each day, a soul departs, a life laid low

By poverty's cruel hand, and no one to know

Graduates abound, with degrees in hand

But jobs are scarce, and hope's lost in the land

Leaders corrupt, with hearts of stone

Greedy and oppressive, leaving none to call home

Hospitals bare, with empty shelves and space

No medicine to heal, no care to embrace

The sick and the suffering, left to despair

As leaders turn a blind eye, without a care

Filling stations dry, with no fuel in sight

Transportation crippled, day and endless night

The economy stagnant, as people struggle to survive

While leaders line their pockets, and the nation thrives

No room for joy, only tears we see

As voters are treated like trash, a travesty

Leaders seek to feed their own desires

Leaving the masses in pain, and endless fires

As September 16th approaches near

A chance to choose, but will we hear?

The cries of the people, the whispers of pain

Will leaders arise, with hearts that sustain?

Or will they feast, on power's corrupt throne

And leave the people, to suffer alone?

The tears of Malawi, a cry to the Lord

For justice, for peace, for a brighter chord

We'll rise up, with voices loud and clear

Demanding change, and an end to fear

We'll stand united, for a brighter day

Where leaders serve, and not just sway

The future's uncertain, but one thing's sure

We need leaders, who'll serve with pure

Hearts that care, and hands that heal

And bring prosperity, to every soul that's real.
